Founded in a small garage in 2018 with just three machines and three dedicated workers, Stitchbury has quickly evolved into a fully operational clothing manufacturing facility.

We specialise in premium activewear, focussing on stretch and moisture management to ensure maximum comfort and durability.

At Stitchbury, we believe in the value of personal interaction and service. When you work with us, you'll be in direct contact with either Helé, the owner, or Lizarie, our associate project manager, ensuring that your needs are met with the utmost care and attention.

Our in-house sublimation process allows us to deliver high-quality, customised garments that cater to the specific needs of our clients. With a monthly output of 1500-3000 garments, we proudly serve top schools and businesses across South Africa.

The Founder

Helé Wansbury

Helé is the owner of Stitchbury and oversees the entire production line and flow. As your first point of contact when inquiring, she will guide you through the design process and help you choose the best fabric options.

Helé is extremely helpful in deciding the ideal garment for your team or business. She is always friendly and approachable, yet has the perfect temperament to effectively run Stitchbury Clothing.

Associate Project Manager

Lizarie Dercksen

Lizarie handles the printing on the sublimation side at Stitchbury Clothing and manages all orders, ensuring they meet full quantities and quality standards.

 

As the final check, she personally packs and ships each order, guaranteeing that every product leaving Stitchbury meets the highest standards. Lizarie is always friendly and ready to help with any inquiries during your order, whether it's about quantities, couriers, or quality.

  • What sizes do you manufacture?
    We create sizes from 1-2 years up to 5XL. Our size range caters to all sizes, ideal for anyone from pre-primary to adults.
  • What is a sublimation process?
    Sublimation is a process used to transfer designs onto various materials, like fabrics or ceramics, using heat. It works by printing a special ink onto a transfer paper, which is then placed on the item to be decorated. When heat and pressure are applied, the ink on the paper turns into a gas without becoming liquid and bonds with the material’s fibers or surface. This results in a vibrant, long-lasting design that doesn't crack, peel, or fade over time. It's like using a super-hot iron to press a colorful picture onto a product, making the design a permanent part of the item.
  • To what areas do you deliver?
    We are a proud South African brand that delivers nationwide!
  • Do you have a minimum order quantity?
    Yes, our minimum order quantity is a total of 5 units.
  • Can we create a brand at Stitchbury?
    No, unfortunately not. At Stitchbury, we do not assist in creating brands. We only focus on customized products for our clients.
  • What is the average turnaround time for an order to be fulfilled?
    It depends on the size and complexity of the order, as every order is unique. The turnaround time can take up to four weeks. However, if you want to place an urgent order, it can be completed within one week with an emergency fee of 7.5%.
